Just finished reading Stars, Storms and the River of Life by Dale Lovin. Once again Brad Walker has taken me on a fantastic adventure into the underbelly of society. Dale in a masterful way has painted a picture of New Mexico and Colorado that makes me dream of traveling to the towns he has described and see the beauty of those places. This is Dale’s 4th book and his writing is strong and confident. My wife Barbara and I wait for number 5...........

I read for ESCAPE. I want to be somewhere else, learning, seeing, feeling a new experience, and this book takes me to yet another of author Dale Lovin’s new places. His descriptions of place are mesmerizing and enticing, his bad guys are complete freaks, and the appreciation of life that he and his characters show is reaffirming. Lovin is a great storyteller!

I read this book over a long weekend and didn’t want to put it down. The story is riveting and the characters are masterfully developed. I felt like I know each of them. Rather than give anything away, I will just say I loved the ending.

Book demanded my attention on page one. It then infused layers of intrigue, history, sorrow and humor into a page turner of a story. Loved getting to know the down-to- earth good folks who eventually lead Brad Walker to the disturbed young man and a suprising ending.
